IC-7300

My menu' setup in IC-7300 for running various applications such as:

HRD DM780 (BPSK31), MMSSTV, KG-STV and WSJT-X.

My original fan in IC-7300 has been replaced with a quiet Noctua NF-A8 PWM with PWM terminals unused.

Can not hear noise from the fan anymore.

Yellow wire is +, black is - polarity.

Connector: 2mm JST-XH

"Spectrum Scope" Adjustment by N9EWO

Change FIL1 in SSB-D mode.

I have changed FIL1 from default 1.2kHz to 3.6kHz in SSB-D mode.

It provides a broader waterfall with multiple signals in DM 780 (BPSK31) and for running analog 2.4kHz SSTV etc.

See full manual, page 4-6.

To run JT65 / JT9 / FT8 programs, it is necessary to install a time synchro-

nization tool on the PC.

Download NetTime.

See the correct time here.

PC Sound card levels.

My speaker level of "USB Audio CODEC"

is set to 20%

My microphone level of "USB Audio CODEC"

is set to 6-20%

Output power is always set to 100W

on my IC-7300.

It's in the DM780 (BPSK31) and WSJT-X programs, I'm adjusting Tx audio level to control the output power, for example to zero ALC display, when running BPSK31 and so on.
